Guitar Hero future songs and sets

... they should have the players of the game pick the songs for the next game or to download. They make so much money on advertisments cause every guitar hero play (which is everyone and there mom) would go to the website sending them in suggestions of what songs they would like to play.

I know I'd like to play some SOAD, a little FOB,  and hey why not some daft punk.

I think that having players choose would ruin the game.  Guitar Hero has a very good song list because they have picked songs that play well, due to strange time signatures, many different variations on guitar parts, multiple choruses and bridges, intros and outros, odd off-beats etc.

Just because you like to listen to a song doesn't mean it would be a good song to put in a game.  Most songs are repetative and simple and wouldn't translate well.

I agree with you to a piont except for there chioce of songs in the game. Most songs are repeatitive oand what not but if it's not your favorite song than why the hell not. You love the song, they're gunna want you to buy the game, it'll be in the game so why not?

 Also maybe they could give you a selection of songs of which they want to be used. And have the players pick one. Than they could put the top voted song in right away and have the other ones ethier put in later so you can buy it or w/e they're making money and eventually every ones happy.
