Well I think it's because the ps2 one was $80 and all 360 games cost $10 more. but yeah I about droped the floor when I heard it too. I'm gonna still get it tomorrow though.
its not that bad anyways its only 10 dollars more then ps2 but it has more stuff and it will be download content so we get more more more songs then ps2 which is worth it :D
It's definitely worth the cost considering the PS2 version is only $10 less and this has more songs, next gen graphics, new guitar, downloadable songs..... It's a no-brainer.
Its like the PS2 (game/controller) package, only it costs $10 more. And since xbox 360 games have always been more expensive then PS2 games im perplexed as to why this comes as a shock.
(we get achievements, 10 new songs, new better built controller, and ability to download new songs off XBL for our $10)Â

LINKÂ If you check wikipedia on Guitar Hero II they have all the tracks that come with withe 360 version. Do a little math and you'll see that at launch it comes with 48 normal songs + 26 bonus songs which equal 74 songs, with more songs on thier way through XBL.

if you think its too expensive then dont buy it. Dont complain, just to complain. the price will not go down, so either buy it or dont. they dont force you to buy it. anyway $90 for a game and a controller on 360 is pretty reasonable if you ask me.
Well you guys are lucky, in the UK it's £70.....which is roughly $120-140! Your paying £45-55....average price for a 360 game An average priced US game $50-60....thats £25-30...but we pay £40-50 Why do UK have to pay more, in my yes, you lot are getting a BARGAIN!
$90 isnt that bad since it comes with a guitar. Halo 3 legendary is $130 and it only comes with a helmit and other stuff which is still worth it.raylewisnfl52

It's $10 more than the PS2 version... not very surprising to me. The PS2 version being $80 is what surprised me, since I think GH1 was $70. And no, the controller isn't wireless. MS refuses to give up their wireless secrets to outsiders... its something that RedOctane has been fighting with MS about as of late, so I hear.

Can u wear the helmet?? That would be cool! No, I don't think so. I think it is about 1/2 the size of an average head and also, pretty sure it's solid metal... Don't quote me on it though...
