Right , i really , really want Guitar Hero II , but im afraid the novelty value will wear off after a couple of games and would have wasted my money :( . Could you put how long you've spent on the game and whether you've got bored yet or anything that may help , Thanks :D
I probably got like 20 hours playing the game on easy and medium. I think I played through every song on medium 4 times. To me, it's just like listening to music. I don't mind playing the same song every day for a week.
I may try the game on hard. So, far it is too difficult, but with practice I may get it.
there is so much replay value in this game. you will rarely get bored with this game. ive been playing since the ps2 release and i still love this game. ive probably gotten more playing time out of it that oblivion. it is especially fun to play with friends too, increasing the value even more
This game has a very high replay value. Its well worth the money. Plus with downloadable songs on the Marketplace, you can continue to enjoy the game even after you master all 70 something songs in the retail version.
I have had the game for not even a week and beat it on easy and medium levels.....its a great game but it does get a lil bit old......but is challenging.
This game is totally worth the 80 bucks - you will never get tired of it. It is far more likely that you will get bored with all of your friends who will be constantly in you den, fighting over who gets to play next.Â
ive been playing on average an hour and a half per day since it was released on the ps2, (also bought 360 version) and im not showing signs of stopping...

My only problem with the game (so far) is that is that I can't find it. I live in Canada and all rthe stores I call are sold out. Ive also had it ordered at EB for over a month but they "haven't got a shipment in yet"
It's a wicked game but I'm stuck on Psychobilly Freakout on Hard ugh. The difficulty isn't quite balanced either as I 5 star'd Strutter on hard on my 2nd or 3rd try and can't even get through it on expert
Psychobilly on Hard is damn brutal. I practed that song part by part all day to beat it. I'm stuck on Carry Me Home on the Final tier though and I doubt I'll get any further for a while.
ive had it since april 3 (the day it came out) since then ive beat it on easy medium hard and expert, and i still play it. I have probably played it for around 30 hours or so.
i got my 360 about a week and a half ago, i got gears of war, dead or alive 4, and guitar hero 2.
guitar hero 2 dominates both of them in play time, and it's by far the most fun, and it's the one i plan on going back to the most. (i'm about halfway through hard)
that game is the most fun i've had playing a video game in a loooooong time.
guitar hero ii has amazing value. you'll never "finish" it cuz it's nearly impossible to perfect all songs on expert. and if you do, you'll basically be famous for it!
