i personally loved both guitar hero and rock band but both of the new ones are looking good and im not sure which one to get.

what do you people think

Both.

I was just going to buy the Rock Band 2 Stand-Alone game since RB instruments will work in it, but then RB instruments also work with GH so Im picking both up. If the RB instruments didnt work then I wouldnt bother with it.

Well I didnt get GH3 or RB but I've played both at my mates houses and I'm thinking at the moment of getting the full pack of GH:WT for the instruments because I prefer their guitars and then buying the stand alone RB1 and 2 games afterwards. Not sure what the european release dates are though. If RB2 comes out first then I'd buy that instrument pack so I don't have to wait.

Well i know im gettin World Tour. I had rb preordered for the wii but then started to see things about world tour and switched it right away. GH is so much better. rb is fun if you have a bunch of people abd have fun with it at parties. but personally i hate the rb guitar and the gameplay of it. they tried to make it look like a real guitar so it doesnt have raised buttons on it like the gh one. its bad to play at least to me it is. the gh guitar is so much better with the raised buttons and spacing between them and more comfortable. and plus the gh guitar gameplay blows rb away. gh is so much smoother and alot more fun to play. now that world tour is coming out i see no reason for someone to get rb2 or one.
