Half Life 2 Orange Box~!!!

i cant wait for half life 2 orange box.. i payed HL2 on the normal xbox and loved it thought it was amazing but neverfinshed it but now i get to play it in high def and havethe next 2 episodes all in one IM GONNA B PLAYING FOR AGES..bummer tho it comes out in october9..and GTA IV comes out on the 16th:( guess il stop playing HL2 when GTA IV comes out then start playing it after i get bored of GTA IV but then asassins creed ect coming out im gonna have so many good games comin out and to play its gonna be awesome... Hey wht do use think of the orange box>???

Indeed. It may just be my most anticipated gaming item I purchase this year just because of the great value that is involved. Gotta love Valve.

Yeah, I'm looking forward to the orange box too. I played HL2 on my PC when it first came out. I have not played Episode 1. So, I'll be able to play that off the orange box. Plus, I'm going to replay HL2 and play Episode 2, Portal and TF2.

This is so going to be worth $60. Plus, during Gamespot's E3 show, they ask a Valve guy about DLC. He said that Valve only charges for the box the game comes in. They never charge for DLC. So, any new maps or content for TF2 should be free. As long as MS doesn't stick there nose in it.

i'm looking forward to replaying hl2, and i've never tried ep1 or 2.. portal doesn't excite me at all, and i don't know much about team fortress, so i'llreserve my opinion on that (but it doesn't look to appealing to me)

i will be getting this game for hl2 and ep 1&2, but i don't think i'll get it right away (like it was already mentioned, there's quite a few new games i want releasing around the same time, so it's gonna be hard to decide.)

I really can't wait for this game. This and Oblivion GOTY Edition are great deals, and this game relly looks unique, especially with Portal and Team Fortress 2.

I really hope that more games come out with such great gameplay and such great deals as this and Oblivion GOTY. :D

half life 2 is now a budget game, it came out before halo2, and xbox1 hardware was able to run it. alot of people replaying it are going to be thinking "i remember it being alot better than this". it hapened to me with golden eye.rdo

yeah, it was a dumbed down port for the xbox. they're redoing it so it will look all nice and shinny on the 360 ;) i imagine it will look similar to the pc experience i had (or maybe better?)

is the box is there 5 seperate game discs or all on one disc? and shouldnt all 5 have there own 1000 acheivments? like HLF have 1000 episode1 have 1000 and so on? just cuz ther on the same disc (i think) doesnt mean they have whatever someone else said:) and i get to play them all in high def october 9th;) also..r they taking pre-orders for it or u just go into the shop on the day?

That has to be one of the funniest things I have ever heard a person say while discussing video games.

Honestly the only two games that are coming out that are sure to be better than the Orange Box is Bioshock and Mass Effect.

Halo 3 and GTA 4 still have a lot to prove after E3.

Assassins Creed features countless women, who all look the same, carrying pots on their head. If Half Life 2 featured that type of copycat NPC, Valve would quit making games out of embarassment- UBI Montreal does not share that type of quality.

The kids who have played non-stop Halo/Halo 2 will continue to play that online because it's the only game they can be good at. Everyone else who wants more than the slow paced, played out Halo action will be on TF2 alllllllllllllll day and having a lot more fun.
