Half life 2 question

This is really confusing to me, what episode is this, 1 or 2? (i beat it on xbox1).

It's neither it's just half-life 2. Episode 1 and 2 were not included in the xbox gameKhimarhi

Are episode 1 and 2 diffrent games? If so, whats the timeline (what games come first)

Yea. The orange box will have the game you played. Plus Episode 1 and 2. (different games but still same characters from what I have read) plus Portal. Plus Team Fortress 2

This is what you get in the Orange Box:

Half Life 2 (the game you beat already)

Half Life 2 Episode 1 (a continuation to Half Life 2, released last year, picks off where HL2 left off)

Half Life 2 Episode 2 (the newest part, continues the story)

Portal (dont know much of it, its some kind of puzzle game involving a kind of gravity gun and portals)

Team Fortress 2 (A competitive, online multiplayer shooter)
