The mistake is paying $15 for a download that you could buy in the store for $10 or less.
Or he could be a Halo hater and is just saying that buying the original is a mistake because Halo sucks.
i'm pretty sure you will stay connected to xbox live w/ the xbox marketplace one. when playing backward compatible games xbox live never works the way it should.

Yeah you cant even use the guide (chat, music, etc) with xbox 1 games.

Accually, a used version of Halo 1 costs $20. I was @ gamestop yesterday
btw-the mistake is that halo 1is not a good game. I'm not a halo hater, Halo 1 is just not a good game. No Online and very similar trolling levels all the way through campaign-
