Halo 2 vs Halo 3.

Which do you guys think is better? I used to think Halo 3 was better and when people said that they were dissapointe I wouldent understan why but now that I have play Halo 2 I am totally hooked an think Halo 3 is just bad.

Whats your thoughts?

this is true in most cases about the maps, but they are still good. though i miss my ivory tower, and ascension. tirf was awesome too.

I didn't like Halo 2 at all. The whole arbitor thing ruined it for me. It was Metal Gear Solid 2 all over again. you know what I'm talking about...(stupid Raidan)

But I really like Halo 3.

Im not saying Halo3's maps are crap, they are good. But halo2 maps felt more balanced. I hope they will bring back some halo2 maps with a next patch

It goes like this IMO:

Campaign: Halo 2

Multiplayer: Halo 3

Though both had great MP and Campaign I enjoyed Halo 2's campaign a bit more and Halo 3's MP a bit more. They are both great games and I gave the entire series a 10. When including the 1st one than it ties Halo 2 in the Campaign category.

I like Halo 3's multiplayer a WHOLE lot more than Halo 2. It would be nice though, for some of the maps from Halo 2 and 1 to transfer over to Halo 3. Ghost_702

Yeah and the worst part about it is that you can shoot them twice with the br and meelee and it doesent kill them it only breaks there shields.

In other words you love the autoaim in halo2 because you can get kills easier.

online halo 3... better graphics..controls feel way better,...community is way better...nobody talks in halo 2...is easy to make friends on halo 3...

i play halo 3 first than 2...so i notice all the improvements from halo 3 when i was playing halo 2.

off line...halo 3...killing that big robot from the inside is hella fun.

ppl expect to much from games in general, or expect the wrong things from them.

IMO- Halo 1 is the best of all three.

but since this topic isn't about that, I'm gonna go with halo 3 here. Halo 3 is basically Halo 2 with cleaner graphics, new weapons, and smoother controls. You can't argue that. Plus, the LIVE community is more active. Although sometimes I enjoy going back to Halo 2 just for kicks, and it's really fun. They are close.

Nope pretty sure I said faster/stronger br. If you ever played a mlg Halo 3 custom they make the br stronger so it seems more like Halo 2 but its just not as fast. Dont care about auto aim.

I like both but think 3 is the best. Its really the same thing just beefed up.

People complained a lot about halo 2 when it was the newest one, too.
