Halo 3 a Dumb Repeat?

From watching the gameplay movies i think Halo 3 might not be OMG! THIS IS MY LIFE! awesome it looks exactly like the others. Tell if you agree or not.

I actually agree with this dude. Its gonna be good, but its been done man, this is the third installment. I couldn't even be bothered to complete the second game, they didn't even change the story line lol

Halo was fresh, halo2 made xbox live what it is......not sure where they are going with number 3. I predict more of the same. Which is not always a bad thing....but not life changes either. I mean, who has bought every tony hawks game?

I think I have been gaming for too long maybe, but I am soo not interesed on halo 3. I want new games, not new versions. I have fallen into this trap soooooo many times in the past. I buy a game because the last one was great. Makes sense right? But I play the game and get bored as I just end up feeling like "been here, done this, even if I do have a new gun, new armour and a new ride to cruise about in.

I'm not a big fan of Halo, I love my 360 but I'd like a little more out of halo and I really hope they deliver, I'm going to get this game because let's face it, running around shooting guys is fun. I just want more out of it than the bizarre story line that I never bothered to follow, I don't own a ps3 and I love my 360, but quite frankly Assassin's Creed looks like it may have more to offer, I hope the Bungie proves me wrong because the new screen shots look alot better than the beta version. I have high hopes and I hope single player delivers, I'm not worried about MP because it always has delivered.

It looks awesome to me. It looks to ramp up the series to the next level in gameplay. Halo means Halo I mean its going to look like the Halo universe otherwise they woulnd't have a coherent story most likely. Being risky of course factors in but they truly have improved this game quite a bit.

Going beyond setting and look, a couple major changes and minor tweaks add together to give it a totally different feel.
Tech Gear like bubble shields and spike grenades only add that next layer of depth. Then individual gun reloads can REALLY come in handy during fights.

The online features to play with friends only get better and honestly that's what made Halo 2 so special for me. My friends and I could all play over the internet for hours and even if we just messed around it didn't matter there were always tons of different ways to have fun, even if we weren't being competitive.

Story should have some finality to it being the ending to some epic trilogy.

It just adds up its Halo but its refined, improved, and everything that Halo seemingly should be. This looks to be the most pure and hopefully flawless FPS ever

I read ur whole post til i lol'ed at the part i bolded, i bet it doesnt hit a 9 so thats 8.5 tops unless gamespot succumbs to the hype, thats the only way itll get over 8.5. trust me once its out ull realize there were much better fps out 2 years ago to recent months
