halo 3 achievement problem

i played though on heroic w/ my buddy, locally w/ one xbox and i got all the mission achievements accept the last one and the ones for beating the game, does anyone know why i might not get the last mission achievement or achievements for beating the whole game?

My friend had the same problem, so I knew exactly what the OP was talking about.

he said LAST mission achievement. The game is set up weird so u have to run through the entire mission in one go to get the achievement. Start the final level from Mission Start to get it and ull be all setHottAsFire

Well he also said the one for beating the game, which means he didn't get all the missions completed on heroic. I played through all of heroic with a friend, but since we joined the lobby and it was on Sierra 117, instead of Arrival, that's part of his problem. Another part could just be a bug as you are insinuating from the last mission.

I have a different problem. I picked up the skull on the first stage but it didn't unlock the achievement. I have tried picking it up again on different difficulties, but still no luck. I have the skull and can turn it on and play through a level with it, but it doesn't show on my gamer score. Is there something I'm missing?zgreenwell

You are missing nothing. That's a silver skull, meaning that it's just for fun and won't merit you an achievement.

I'm sure this has been metioned before, but does anyone know why I would not be able to pick any skulls up? I can always find them and see them, but I just walk over them, there doesn't seem to be a way to pick them up.....Action_Acton

I don't think those plain view skulls count. I wondered the same thing. In fact I'm sure they are not the skulls we are talking about for achievements. Try gamefaqs or something.
