Is the there any way to have Split Screen in Halo 3 look like Halo 2 (without the black Bars)???

Or change setting to split verically???

I've heard setting the Xbox to 480p while playing split screen will fix that... because Halo 3 downconverts the Resolution while playing split-screen.
