Halo 3 Campaign INFO INSIDE!!! plus some MP new info

"Armour

Both Spartan and Elite character types are playable in multiplayer, but now it appears each comes with additional customization options/ For the Spartans, various standard MJOLNIR is there, of course, plus Cobra, Intruder, Ninja, and Regulator types. Similarly, the Elites have their stanard armour, plus new Predator and Raptor types.

Game Modes

Again, everything you'd expect from Halo 2 is back - Juggernaut, Oddball, King of the Hill, Capture the Flag and all that jazz - but there are some new modes loosely based on custom games some players made up in Halo 2. VIP is sort of new, but was included in the Beta, so we should all be familiar with how it works; Infection on the other hand, is brand new. It's Humans vs Flood starting off with one Flood player agains all the humans; every player who dies at the hands of a Flood becomes a Zombie themselves. There are however a couple of game types we'll admit we know nothing about - Tank Ball and Tank Flag.

Flamethrower

The Flamethrower is a returning weapon from the PC version of the original Halo - it has a short range but has the bonus of causeing continual damage.

Is back, but might be Campaign only, although may be accesable through custom games.

Gravity Hammer

Same hammer from the end of Halo 2 that tartarus was using.

Also, this is the song list of the songs in Halo 2. look at the second last song its 'Road To Voi'. You heard it here first the first level in HALO 3 is en route to Voi [Jeff Gerstmann Hype Voice]. Also the first Halo 3 trailer is Voi because Bungie confirmed that in that trailer Mount Killimanjaro was in the background so its like a 99.9% chance it is. Seems like the Ark is in Africa (Big surprise)

I know the magazine your talking about, they did a good story on Assassin's Creed last month (I live in the US, but they sell the magazine at Border's), with lots of new info, so I am inclined to believe this actually. Of course, then they could just be talking about the stuff that the modders found, it is hard to say.

Im Canadian and I get magazines from a local convience store because i know the manager he's a big gamer, and he gives me magazines sometimes and i sometimes buy EGMs and crap to give him business but anyways i went to get a slushie with my friend and hes like check this **** out, its intended for post E3 and he got it sent to him from a friend over seas and he gave me an extra one. I got so excited i hada astr8 NERDGASM

Well I'm glad you enjoyed it, even if that is a little disturbing. Still, I find this interesting. People complain about the 360's tons of shooters but they are always good. Well usually good, the occassional Hour of Victory not withstanding.

I never heard of that game mode. What do you do in it?

And in the "High Charity" level, I bet you play as the Arbiter. I mean, MC already was already on the Covenant planet in Halo2, so I think the Arbiter is making a stand against the Brutes, while MC is trying to stop the Ark from activating.

I know! There is so much variety in this god damn game that it brings the BETA to shame.

Bungie has never let us down. Halo3 will be one of the best games of 2007.
