Halo 3... Finish the fight.... yeah right!?

Ok now that Reach is getting closer I feel like we can bring back this topic.

WHAT THE HELL was with the legendary ending of halo 3. What this just some way to keep it open IF they wanted a sequel??? Is the story done?? OR is another sequel on its way?

Its already been confirmed that the series will be continued after Reach by a meticulously put-together company known as 343 Industries. Whether or not 343 will pick the series up from where it left off in Halo 3 is unknown, but it only seems natural. There's been a lot of speculation as to there being another trilogy following Chief on this rogue planet.

halo reach is going before halo 1 even started i believe.

Microsoft probably told them to end the game where they can allow 343 industry's to step in... or bungie just did that to have epic ending on halo 3... come on you playing the game you jump in space ship it breaks apart you get left by the black teleport hole w/e and you turn on the beaker and wait lol you can have that or master chief dies. i personally take the first one but hey:D

That ending could have easily been the end. Like Halo 3 was the final game and that ending just let you think what Master Cheif was doing after it.NintendoGamer3

I agree look at what Bungie did with MC face they never showed it to us. Instead they left it up to our imaginations to figure out what he looks like. To me it seems like their doing the same with the Halo 3 Legendary ending.

Reach is a prequel. And Halo 3's slogan was right, you finished the fight that had not been concluded in Halo 2. The slogan wasn't "There will never be another Halo game ever again". vashkey

The intelligence level of the original poster (troll?) has to be called into question if they think that this is in some way a Halo 3 sequel.

They could go on forever making Halo games. There is so much in the Halo Universe that hasn't been explored or even thought of yet. I kinda want to see a Halo FPS/RPG.

I'm not a troll... sorry if my wording made you think .. that I thought.. that Reach was a sequel. I know Reach is a prequel. I have read the book. I can't wait to play it. I just have wondered why their wasn't true closure in Halo 3.

i think that halo 3 ended well , good climactic ending . as for there being an offical Halo 4 i dont think its gonna happen and if it does wont be for quite sometime .

I'm pretty sure we'll see the Chief again. I mean, if 3's ending was meant to be one of those "open to interpretation or ended as it began" endings, why would Bungie show us that the planet the Chief was floating to was Forerunner(?)?

I think if they really wanted the Halo series to end they would have had master chief being the earth hero with him on it... I mean, they can't expect me to think that it's friggin over... Unless it's a Marathon reference.... :O
