Halo 3 graphic's superb!

I still think fight night looks better then halo or gears ...

Anyways, onto subject, ya there pretty good. The only problem i find is that there is only so much they can do, becuase some things about the game are sorta cartoony (like the suits, not in a bad way, just sort of that "out there" design) so just in my head, it will never look as good as gears or fight night, becuase there is nothing human about then to identify with. Still good, it just has its limitations.

Athough i am a big fan of the textures in the game.

Clearly no one likes Fanboys, If you think it looked like H 2.5 then get glasses. Go look at a comparason image.. acutally ill do it for you because you can't seem to see stuf right

You can really change how the suits look they will always kind of look cartoony but there is a lot of detail on them.  What really stands out in halo 3 is the lighting and the gorgeous environments.Bi0HaZaRD_15

on my hd t.v., halo 3 does NOT look that great. I was defending the graphics until I played the beta and i can confirm that the graphics ARE mediocre. When I play gears right afterwards the difference is overwhelming. But the game IS still fun.

No gaming sight can tell you any different than what you percieve.

ya but you also can't have somthing like fight night or gears w/ 16 ppl running around a giant area w/ tons of explosions and grass blowing in the wind and stuff like that. halo 3 has all that going on, and it has great visuals, plus there are all these subtle little details in halo 3 that i can't realy explain, but they make the environments look and feel alive, as if it has history, and ppl have actually been there and lived in it. so IMO the art direction alone puts it above something like gears.

Says the dude who gave Gears 1.0 and has tons of Ps2 and PS3 games. Play the game, or shutup. Most of us will like you to do the latter.

Yeah, theres an improvement but its a hop forward rather than a lep.  I think people were expecting there to be a huge leap forward in graphics.  This is not the case, as can be seen in your screenshot comparison link.  There is obviously some improvements on the graphics but clearly the energy of this development team went into gameplay.  My opinion based on camparing the 2 games.  Halo 3 looks to be good enough!  Especially with this idea of increasing player speed!

I agree 100%, however I wish the suits had some reflection (That is what makes the suits look cartoony).

you just like half naked sweaty men.... worst boxing game ever. Wii boxing is 100x more realistic and immersive.
