Halo 3 is taking away EVER other game's thunder...

Virtually EVERYONE on my friend's list is playing Halo 3. I am too, it's a great game and all, but I was just wondering when people will start playing other games.

For me: I am getting Guitar Hero III on October 28 and that will keep me busy for awhile. Then I am getting Mass Effect on November 20 and that will keep me busy for even longer. And I will always go back to Skate. and Halo 3.

My question for you guys is: what games are going to tear you away from Halo 3?

Well, it's not a problem for me since Halo doesn't interest me :D

I think there is definitely going to be a "Halo effect" in terms of sales of other games, because the vast majority of XBL enabled gamers are playing the heck out of Halo 3 and ignoring everything else that comes out. That will fade in about a month, but games such as the Orange Box that would otherwise get a lot of notice are being overshadowedby Halo 3 hype.

Personally, I have Eternal Sonata and Blue Dragon to finish, andI too am playing Halo 3, soI probably won't buy another thing until Mass Effect.

will be playing Puzzle Quest for awhile, but will still play Halo 3 alot, the game that will really probably take me away from Halo 3 will be Mass Effect or Assassin's Creed in NovembersandroDX

Have to agree with Puzzle Quest this lil game in HD with mutilplayer online for 15$ish is a steal. I can only shudder at how many hours this little RPG/Puzzle game will be taking away from me this wensday im more hyped for this game then any other.
