halo 3 map packs fail to work

I just downloaded the two map packs fo halo 3 and when i go to the playlists it says i dont have the maps o play in them. i restarted mt console and nothing. I'm playing halo from my harddrive if that has anything to do with it. can someone give me a solution for this? thanks in advanced.

have cold storage?

This is probably unrelated but may help.

The only game I know 100% you shouldn't put on your HDD is Halo 3.

Halo was optimized to run faster off of the DVD rather than the HDD.

3 map packs:

Legendary

Mythic

Heroic (free)

and a single free map cold storage

Thanks everyone, i just redownloaded the maps and it worked. maybe you should try it too for those who also had a problem.
