I have played around 45 online matches and have not come across the little annoying kids like I use to in Halo 2. Did they change something or is it just luck? Anyone else having a better experience with not being matched up with the young annoyances?
Same here its wierd. I never played Halo 2 over LIVE so I never really experienced it first hand.
But from all the posts I've read and my mates I can guess how bad it was. So upon playing Halo 3 I thought I had it all to come. But I've not played with one in the few games I've played.

That acutally happened to me the first time I played Halo 2 online. Except we didn't lose, everyone from my team left and then one the guys that left called me an idiot.

I'm surprised too. I've had some pretty good skirmish games where our team actually talked and strategized. It makes the game so much more fun to play when you play with people like that.

ROFL thats it. also the Stores are not letting kids buy it without a parent and that something that wasn't around years ago when Halo 2 came out. im laughing inside cause such a huge launch was just the Halo fanbase the games gonna sell like crudd over time.

Yeah, I can agree that there has been a shortage of high-pitched voices on Halo 3. I have come across some preteen kids on Live but most were mature enough that you don't notice any difference between them and the adults. I am 19 and I'm the asst. counselor of my church youth group. There are these two brothers in the group (ages 15 and 13) that I play with on live actively. Despite being quite a few years younger than the majority of my friends, these two are probably more mature than most people I know. They are fun to hang with despite their age. My piont is just because you've had some bad experiences with the younger population on Halo, doesn't mean they're all bad. Yes, I can admit that their voices can be a bit annoying but that's not their intentive doing. Most of you people (16 and up) sounded just like that too. I know I did. Give em' a break, they'll grow out of it eventually.

Yeah, seriously. What a hypocrite. Even if he's not a lil' kid (doubt it), that kind of condesending and stupid attitude is what most gamers try to avoid on LIVE.

But come christmas time or a couple weeks from now when they have saved enough allowance money to buy the game we will all be overrun and driven right into covenant hell. Stupid kids are just like the Unggoy grunts because there is so much satifaction in shooting themwhen they are clustered togetheron a multiplayer map.
Unlike Halo 2 I have yet to fully explore all the features of Halo3 which includes the multiplayer mute feature. Too bad mute is one feature I could do with ever using. Live it up while you can boys!

Um...why did you call the grunts by their Covenant name as well? That's like saying Sangheili Elites, Jirlhanae Brutes, or Lekgolo Hunters, it's the same thing...wow I feel like a nerd lol.
But yeah seriously. I've never come acrossed any annoying little kids that yell obsceneties in their mics but I've had a few kids in my matches but they're by no means annoying.

yea it'll be somewhat ok for now. but other adults i play with are now acting like little children more and more now...it's ridiculous! MS needs to release some sort of recording feature so when you send a complaint you can actually send footage with audio to them to prove this!
