I think Halo 3 isn't as good as people say. I've got the game and I was excited to get it but now I'm starting to get tired off it, The guns are good and so are the enemies but the vehicles are rubbish to control, The levels are too long! and I think apart from the end the game is

This thread is new. It's never been done before, and your arguments are intelligent. You should also not use the search button in the future, as I can tell every thread you'll make will be original and interesting.

Thread creator: Along those lines of what's mentioned above there, do read the forum a bit to see what's already been talked about (to death).

If you do want to fault Halo, expand upon your ideas, and bring more to the table besides a quick impression. For example, you dislike the vehicle controls. Fine, but give some examples of shooters that did have good vehicle controls, and how Halo could have implemented these to better the gameplay. Same thing with the levels: Which levels were too long, or were all of them too long? Dissect a specific level, and point to sections that you thought were repetitive or superfluous.

I know alot of people say this (okay 10,000,000,000 say it) but the game is exciting but you would expect it like a PlayStation 1 game because its like Call of Duty but much more realistic.

I'm not sure what you're saying here. Are you saying that Call of Duty's more realistic, or that Halo's more realistic?

Last weekend there were just shy of 500,000 players online at one point playing HALO 3 not 500,000 people online in Gamespot.com. The people that got bankrupt, got divorced, fired, got cancer or ruined their lifes were not the cause of Halo 3 it was because the didn't have proper money management, poor communication with their spouse, didn't care about their job, Halo 3 can't cause cancer, and their life was probably messed up to begin with. So blaming others and a object is ridiculous. Step one is taking ownership for your own actions.

Now to the topic. Halo (any of the 3 games) is a game that everyone can pick up and play. Being that said Halo is left way open for criticism. Lets take a game like Disgaea. Not everyone will pick it up because not everyone is into a strategy JRPG so you wont have hundreds and thousands of people ether calling it garbage or great.

Yea im a Halo fan-man (i aint no boy). But i also like Disgaea as well. I own lots of cult games as well as mass appeal games. If you don't like Halo then thats OK but your comment Palantes was ridiculous.

What are you talking about? Halo 3 is a arcrade shooter, its realistic at all, the reason people are getting upset about what you are saying is because we have had the conversation like 100 times already.

...your comment Palantes was ridiculous.

I'm really not sure if you're being serious or not. Are you being ironic by responding with mock sincerity to my obviously insincere post?

So here's my response: It's a well known fact that people on message boards are never sarcastic, and never exagerrate anything.

Crap, that's probably not going to work, is it? I'll save some time, write your next post for you, and respond to it here as well:

[quote="Palantas"]

It's a well known fact that people on message boards are never sarcastic, and never exagerrate anything.

Hinduce likely would have

Well Palantas, your comment is quite ridiculous. I know for a fact that a great many people (±⅜√500,000) are in fact sarcastic on message board forums, and do exagerrate facts in order to support their zany opinions.

All right, I'm going to be completely literal from this point forth, and endevour to explain myself. The topic creator implied that most people in the gaming community think that Halo is a great game. I pointed out that on this forum, you'll find a number of people who hate Halo for no good reason. I then gave a host of absurd reasons that Halo haters might hate Halo. Given the magnitude of my exagerration, I assumed everyone would see it for being that: comic absurdity. This was obviously not the case, and some confusion ensued. I apologize.

In fact, I have no idea why rabid Halo haters hate Halo, to the point of wishing that the games never even existed. I believe this is a silly position, and I like to mock it whenever it comes up.

I think Halo's reasonably realistic. The supension of disbelief works fine in the game, in that there's a rational explanation for all of the game's mechanics. However, the gameplay in Halo hearkens back to action/arcade shooters like Doom, Quake, and Unreal. Compare this to Call of Duty, where the gameplay is more similar to tactical shooters, like the old Rainbow Six games.

Aside from the intellegent op's remarks.

I dom't think it lives up to halo's 2 online and halo combat evolved.

But i find it still addicting with the matchmaking system. It's fun, but not that great.

The difference here though is that a topic like this is beating a dead horse. It's up every day. On every forum that has any relation to Halo. You'll even see Halo bashing on a regular enough basis on boards completly unrelated to Halo.

And you'll hear it outside of forums. Play some Call of Duty 4 or Gear of War and there a good chance for the occasional Halo hate confersation to surface.

Hell, watch zero punctation review. The guy didn't even bother to play any of the Halo games until last year and half of his review some how get a Halo insult thrown in before it's over.

Go to Kotaku. Almost ever Halo related article I've read from them arent totally positive.

It's beating a dead horse, no matter how you look at it.

It's a game forum for crying out loud, people will say what they want, you're hardly supposed to write an essay about the game.

Especially some smart alec's on this forum think they are the s*** but they don't even know the difference between the words "then" and "than" eg.

I am better then you...

Should write...

I liked halo, it was my #1 game for a long time. But like anything, doing something too much gets old. Plus, everyone I faced in multiplayer sucked or lagged. I don't play Halo 3 anymore because of those reasons: it's boring and too easy.

To be honest, I hate the story, I think it's boring. But! The levels are great since Halo: Combat Evolved, as is the multiplayer. Sure, the levels were too long in Halo 3, but isn't that what the little save thing is for? Forge and Theatre are great too.
I have to agree on the vihicles though, but I got used to them.

Halo is actually an underrated game in my opinion. It has endless replayability and many great features no other game has.

I actually loved it. It was the first xbxo 360 game I got. Heck, I even got the 360 for that game. But i got bored of the single player, i'm waiting to get xbox live to start playing it online.

I know alot of people say this (okay 10,000,000,000 say it) but the game is exciting but you would expect it like a PlayStation 1 game because its like Call of Duty but much more realistic.WWE360Man
halo 3, more realisitc then cod4? keep dreaming. Cod4 on hardcore mode is the MOST realistic military sim you can get

I think it was worth the money but now i've completed it now its a bit boringWWE360Man

This could be said of every game a person buys. The majority are not going to continue to hold your interest close to a year later. That does not make a game back, only one's expectations unrealistic.

Well I thought the game was loads of fun and am not mad that I bought it at all. The games online is awesome.
