Halo 3 ODST Early Play

ALL Im go say is as a Halo 3 die hard fan it is truely overrated.. I like the firefight addition, but multiplayer comes on a second disc with only about two new maps... but nothing else changes.. If you love the halo story then you will love this game, but If you love playing online then dont waste your time.. you still use the same spartans and everything mulitiplayer doesnt change a bit.

You guys do realize that this is real, but he's pirated his copy. I read on Joystiq that it got leaked out from France and now people with a modded 360 have had access to it for weeks.

Maybe if you'd done a little research before running off and getting your hands on a pirated copy of the game..

You'd know that yes.. Halo: ODST is a 2 disc set.
The first disc consisting of the Single Player, which I'm personally looking forward to quite a lot, and Firefight mode..

The second disc being the Halo 3 disc but with ALL the old maps and 3 new ones.


They released this information weeks ago.

Now, if you're done giving a very poorly typed review of your pirated copy.. I'm going to go lurk about and read the 300 other ODST boards.. Then sit quietly in my room and await my legal copy of ODST. Because I care about the developers that worked very hard to bring us games like this.

couldn't agree more.

well it is not overrated deal for me because I have not purchased any of the halo 3 maps yet and you get all of them included with the second disc. Plus it is an all new single player experience. If you ask my opinion it is a hell of a deal, for me at least.

Well, just to let you know, not all the people who's playing ODST right now is doing it with a pirated copy, yesterday at a local store I saw ODST already on the shelves... Too bad I didn't have the money to get it... anyway I was planning to get at launch day so no biggies

yeah i have the game also, the first disc is a new campaign where you play as like 4 people, 5-7 hours long, then the second disc which is halo 3 basically without the halo 3 missions, and added 3 new maps. if you dont believe me, when you get the game, odst has the rookie on the front screen, and the 2nd disc says halo 3 mythic. completely overrated unless you want to spend 60 dollars again for the same game that you have + a 5 campaign mode, bungie is milking to the bone

OHH yeah, i have the american version, not the pirated france version by the way

and if you guys havent realized it yet, firefight is basically horde from gears of war 2
