Halo 3 ODST Priced... wait no!

Before now I haven't been able to find an accurate price for ODST. Well it was just posted as $60. Along with the game they are including 24 maps that have all been released except 3. They will also have a demo for Halo:Reach.

I have to say I am not impressed. Bungie even admits it is a standalone expansion not a new game.

I say keep the maps and demo then sell the game for $30. Oh well, we all know I am going to buy it anyway.

Wow...really? Bungie even said in Bungie.net that they won't charge Halo ODST as a full price game. Now I don't know if I'm going to purchase it at the release day.:?

I know they did. I was expecting a $30 game, maybe even as much as $40, because it is a standalone.

Apparently they are selling to two versions of the release.

One of them will be $99.99 for the game and special ODST controller.

I will only rent this game. Not worth $60 for me at least.

Halo 3 ODST is it's own game priced at $60 now, I remember hearing that it'll be more than just an expansion pack.

wow... that's too much for a short campaign. Maybe if we complain enough, they will reduce the price...lol

It better have some really good Achievements... All 1000/1000... And some cool ODST armor that I can try to pimp out online but in a few weeks everyone already will have it anyway... Like the Katana...

you guys act like its a crappy costume DLC. Your getting a stand alone game that will have replay value along with brand new multiplayer maps to halo 3 and a BETA to a totaly new multiplayer experience

yea i think that's what they did,Plus i think it recieved more attention then they thought. i already preordered it bought the 69.99 i woulda bought they 99 if it came with and art book o well.

I dont care. Halo 3 is the best online game on the 360 in my opinon and i'm sure ODST won't dissapoint.

It doesn't really matter though, I know I am going to buy every Halo that comes out. All my friends play it, so I have to crush them in something. I have all of the games but Halo Wars, which doesn't really count.
