Halo 3 isnt terrible, while at the same time its not stunning either. Its fun for a playthrough or 2 and the multiplayer is ok but its only ever fun anymore for me if Im playing with some friends.

Call of Duty 4 beta was amazing, I had so much fun with that. More fun than I do in any other game that I have. Im sure the single player will be alot better than Halo 3's.

Overall, I think Call of Duty 4 will kill Halo 3.

1. The story is completely unique. You obviously have never played the game. It's not about trying to save the earth from an infestation of aliens -- that's Gears of War.

2. The gameplay is much different than any other FPS. The gameplay is fast paced, non-stop action that offers a wide variety of weaponry and vehicles that always satisfy. Everyone who has played Halo knows what I'm talking about. There is much more to the gameplay than that, but I'm not going into heavy detail -- the review seems to give a good explanation.

3. You still did not answer my question. That's because you know I'm right. I dare you to try an answer them. The fact is that you cannot because COD4 is just anther Modern Shooter that has been revamped and given a fresh coat of paint. I'm still getting it of course, but you get my point.

I agree. Call of Duty is a great series even though all of the Campaigns kinda sucked. I'm still getting the game, but like I said, it really isn't doing anything unique.

Im not saying your wrong about COD4, I dont think its revolutionary in any way, its just the best wartime shooter out there right now. And the way you described Halo to me sounded awfully familiar, say Unreal Tournament? And I have played Halo 1-3 before and I still stick behind my word. It does not revolutionize FPS, let alone games in general. The only game that did revolutionize the shooter genre was Doom. I've played Halo 3 on launch day and while I was playing it I just made me want to play Bioshock instead, it literally bored me.
