which one should I get?

Depends what you can afford dude. Normall I'd say go for the one that keeps you up to speed with the story but since ODST is a prequal you wont be missing out anything if you go for that. Plus you do get access to all the multiplayer content of halo 3 but having said that ODST's campaign is a fair bit shorter
I'd go with ODST because it comes with the entire Halo3 Multiplayer anyway. Including paid mapsbloodyclutch
Yup.
I'm convinced that Bungie made ODST as fan service, and to make it more convienent for newcomers to the Halo 3 parade.
So yeah, Halo ODST comes with Halo 3 multiplayer and paid maps. You'll just have to adjust from playing as an ODST in the campaign to a Spartan in the multiplayer.
Get halo 3, ODst is good, but the campign and firefight mode is worth about 20 bucks, and youd be paying 60 for the whole thing. Halo 3 is only 40 bucks, so sae yourself the money

So instead of spending $60 on a better campaign, firefight mode, Halo 3's multiplayer AND all of the maps, it's better to spend $50 on Halo 3 and then spend $20 - $25 on DLC?

That's funny, because I've never seen any Halo 3 games with a price that low, both here in Bermuda and anywhere else I've been in the US.

Which compaign is better is merely a matter of opinion dude, I wish people would stop saying halo 3's sucked cause ODST and halo 3 have both got brilliant campaigns. Just ODST's is shorter and halo 3's is longer though admitidly ODST has a very interesting way of putting its story across.

ODST definitely. You get The ODST campaign, Firefight, and all of the Halo 3 maps including the Mythic maps. It's definitely worth the $60 a lot more than Halo 3 ever was. And contrary to what a lot of people on the forums say, I liked the campaign, I liked Firefight, nor am I bored of it yet. So yeah, ODST is the way to go.
