Answer to you question is you've got to access your router settings to set your NAT type to Open, which is the mode best for Halo 3 to operate in...
As for specific instructions I can't really tell since I dont know your router model... but try opening a web page and typing http://192.168.1.1 and typing ONLY ''admin'' in the password box on the prompt screen... it works for pretty much all Linksys routers

yes thats happened to me sometimes it must be some glitch, what i usually do is exite halo3 and go back to the xbox menu and test my internet connection. after i do this i can start up halo 3 and itll wrk fine

and also yes xbox 360 is doin vry well and i luv it; i vry much so hate sony but givin the price drop i really wanna get one just waitin for more exclusives to come out, it all comes down to bein a fan of video games period
When halo 3 came out alot of ppl were putting up topic's about this problem. I was reading one and one guys said that opening your nat file is like leaving a pot of honey with a bear. I think that means that your nat file is like a protection for your Internet. My NAT file is not open and it works fine.Pump_man44

ya thats the wierd part, its been STRICT since ive got my 360 but it is just beginning to be a porblem now

hmm i dare you to say "im having trouble with my 360 right now" in the PS3 boards and im pretty sure someone will say "that's what you get for buying from MS!"....sigh.. i'd think sony's hardware is more reliable IMO.
