Being late to the Halo seen I tried to get into Halo 2 Multiplayer but I found it very frustrating since everyone else was already so practised at it that I was dead before I even got started. The Single player of Halo 1 was fun and 2 was ok but I have not seen anything about the single player mode for Halo 3? I mean Halo 1 was built around story and while Halo 2 was a bit of a letdown story wise it is still what the game it built on. So why have I not seen any screen shots (other than the cgi commercial during the super-bowl) having to do with single player? Has Bungie decided that people will by the game for multipalyer only now and any single player story mode will be sparse? Please tell me this is not going to happen because I forone want to play this game for its story and not multipayer. Even better I hope the do a GEOW and have co op story mode.
Good news for you.. The single player is supposed to be very long and amazing!! They spent a lot of time on it. I heard you can even play live co-op with four of your friends. Again, the single player should be very long and very fun! The multi player is just the iceing on the cake..
in past bungie weekly updates they have said the the SP levels will be huge and have big battles in them. we will know a lot more when E3 comes because bungie is going to talk more about SP there this year.
Oh man, am I glad to hear that! I too, was afraid that Halo3 would be mp only... and i think Halo's mp is for the super-fan only, because casual mp play in Halo is just being killed over and over again with hardly any hope for racking up the frags.... unless you play all the time.

I was not worried about it being there I just have seen a heard so much about MP and very little about SP. I have played the Beta Demo and it was OK but I can only hope that the graphics in the SP mode will be Gears of War good. I hope I am not disappointed.

You shouldn't be expecting 'Gears of War' graphics. That game has a different graphical style and small closed environments that require very fine details. Halo 3is supposed to be huge so I doubt such detail will be present...that doesn't mean it won't look amazing though.

I hope they really pull out the stops for the big battles ... it was those which made me gasp out loud in the original Halo
I can't freakin wait!!! The SP has always been my favorite. I still like the MP, but there are too many cheaters out there with modded boxes that really ruin it for the casual player like myself. Hopefully the rumors are true about the SP being awesome. I was really disappointed with the Halo 2 SP. I honestly sat there for 15 minutes saying, "That can't be it... That can't be it... Is that it??? THAT CAN'T BE IT! AAAGHHHH!!!"
i would love to know where the elites have dissapeared to?? not mentioned in any previews, gameplay, any viddeo, or even as one of the new toy line up figurineswhich was anounced? they better be in it...

FYI, They got rid of modding.. All the modders have been banned. I play Halo 2 every night and I have not seen any cheating in a long time.
