Halo 3 user-created content

Hey my friend just got halo 3 and when I invite her to a game it says she can't play user-created maps. It's really annoying because all we can do is forge and matchmaking. Does anyone know how to fix this?

I don't know we tampered with the dashboard's settings but nothing worked. We might look a little more for a solution though.
