Halo 3 vs. Grand Theft Auto IV

If you had a choice to buy one of the games, which would you buy?  Halo 3...or Grand theft auto 4?

I'd pick Halo 3 for the series is better and it is more fun,

Just because a game isn't in the same genre as another doesn't mean you can't compare the two. I don't get where some people get that. You can compare anything and in my opinion GTA destroys halo, but I still like both series.
