Halo 3 vs. The orange box. Which is best?

Which of these two games is the best in your opinion? Why? And which of the games has the best multiplayer?

Halo 3 is better in my opinion. Why? Eventhough the graphics are terrible like Orange Box, the gameplay is much better than Orange Box, because Orange Box has a crack team of monkeys who suck at making games.

not tryin to be mean but im tired of all these comparing halo, gears, orange box, and everything else...just go out and rent them and see for urself...but

i dunno which one to choose. I am gonna say orange box..i rented it with a friend and its amazing....i mean halo is good but it gets repeptitive in campaign and i am starting to get sick of the multiplayer cuz of the melee system and all that crap that just makes it stupid. Like random grenades, the melee system, the always stacked team ..and everyting else. so...thats why i like orange box..it takes a lot of team skill to play multiplayer..halo takes skill but not a lot....and to add on to how i dont like halos multiplayer..u cant forget the 12 and 13 year olds playing screaming and crap ...gets old fast..

my vote is orange box....all the way..and plus portal is amazing..

Hahaha, nice troll post. Let me guess, you just love the graphics in Gears and nothing else can compare to them. Right? Whatever man.

Anyways, best game all around is Orange Box because it has so many different parts to it. The whole Half Life 2 saga is a great experience, Portal is just plain fun and TF2 is some pretty fun multiplayer.

However, Halo 3 is my favorite out of the two for the longevity of the multiplayer. TF2 is just not as deep as Halo 3 and definitely will not be played as long. The young annoying kids aren't a big deal anymore. Play with friends and be quick with the mute button and you won't have any troubles.

And as ianp_91 said, we see about 4 of these threads a day, they should just sticky one.

I like the Orange Box much better.

I enjoy the story, atmosphere and feel of Half Life to that of Halo 3. As far as multiplayer goes, I really don't care for it in either game.

Oh, and Portal is awesome, though here's hoping for some downloadable levels for it in the near future.;)
