I doubt it. They'll probably spend the majority of their time making more multiplayer maps for 3 instead.I would like to see some side story levels for the Arbiter though. DLC maybe?

Bungie have said all along that the Halo "trilogy" refers to the story arc involving the Covenant, the Flood and the Halo rings. That trilogy has been concluded, but there is nothing to stop them using some of the same characters in a whole new story arc, thus kicking off a new trilogy.

i don't feel tired about the series I WOULD LOVE IT IF THEY MADE ANOTHER!!!! one with some backstory on master chief coz i haven't read the books and it would be good if they show wat happens to master chief after cortana sends the beacon and you see the ROUND thing in the STARS (tried not to give out any spoilers, sorry if i did)

Sounds good on paper, or online in this case.

But Bungie don't need to make this franchise any longer than it's gotta be. They got a diamond on their hands, but they don't need to be givin' it the Rocky treatment.

I would say there will definitely be another Halo FPS game. Whether it is called Halo 4, I do not know. Halo is one of the biggest selling game franchises ever. To not continue making Halo games would be a HUGE financial mistake on MS's part.

Also, Bungie doesn't necessarily need to make the next Halo FPS. MS could have another group develop the game and have Bungie work on a new IP. Who knows, the next Halo FPS could be multiplayer only.

Bungie has to move on. The temptation of doing another Halo game is too much! $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$. They really have to make another franchise, just think, with their imagination to do a game as Halo, the graphics of Xbox 360, they could seriously make a way cool game.
