It would be cool if they made a new Halo game, Not now or next generation. I'd say in like 10-15 years. At least it'll have better technology to work with, Then maybe we can actually have full scale battles. Bigger then the one's in H3.reubendarosa

You must not know what halo wars is haha? Why would Epic make a real time strategy game? Its ensemble studios the people who make Age of Empires.

I wouldn't be suprised if there is a Halo 4, after all there's too much money involved in Halo for a simple story to keep another one from coming around.

I don't know much about making a sequel, it could be more like a prequel (Like MGS3) involving an earlier event during the war. I think if anything though, a new Halo story should be more centered around Master Chief, not saving the galaxy again.

If anything though, I'd expect more spinoffs to the Halo universe. Something like Halo Helljumper with you playing an ODST or something of that nature.

the halo series i think should stop where it is right now. halo 3 was a perfect ending to the series story-wise (it was kinda weak but did end the story effectively). Instead, bungie should bring up a whole new game but still set in the halo-verse. and forthose few who haven't seen the legendary ending, the chief is floating towarda another planet. The new series i think should take place on this planet but you don't get to play as the chief. It would be really interesting to see what Bungie could come up with with a whole new place to start but still using some old material.

I semi-agree, i think that the halo series is like the sopranos....open for more.....the way the sopranos ended they kept it so they could come back to it, i believe bungie did the same thing, just, please bungie, work on something else for a while, all the 360 fanboys need right now is to bring halo 4 to the arguments...

Most of the ideas brought up in this thread are horrible. Seriously. Bungie said the Halo story arch has ended, and that they are moving on. Maybe more books will come out, we have Halo Wars being handled by Ensemble Studios, and a potential series/motion picture.

There WILL NOT be a Halo 4. Why? It is over. The Covenant lost. Now, given the ending of Ghosts Of Onyx, there may be, as there are some surviving Spartan IIs as well as some Spartan IIIs and Dr. Halsey, but that won't be connected with the original Halo story arch in the least. Get over it okay? Halo is done, enjoy the fond memories.
