I am disapointed with the Spartan ops. It felt like a task to do them. I slugged through them and did not enjoy them. They could have made them so much better
played one mission. Disliked it really have zero plans play it again. rather have firefight. prefer survival. They should of done both. Space couldn't been the issue since they already require you have a hard drive...
Yeah I wasn't too impressed with Spartan Ops. It reminds me too much of Reach's campaign, which I wasn't a big fan of. Just not like playing as the chief if you know what I mean. I only liked firefight for about a week in ODST, then it got old. They brought it back in Reach and I wasn't a big fan. I think Spartan Ops is basically Halo 4's answer to firefight, but I wish they would have taken it out entirely and just focused on adding new gametypes to multiplayer or something. Anyway, just my opinion.
I like it much better than firefight. There are some things I don't like about SO though, like extreme co-op lag, lacking objectives, and overall dull gameplay. As a whole, Iike the effort 343i put in, and hope that Spartan Ops will improve.
I agree with others that the lag is ridiculous sometimes when playing with others. My only other gripe would be that the missions are a little too short but not short enough to make me hate it. If the lag is fixed then I'm ok as that is my biggest gripe.
I feel like they completely dropped the bal here. Lets just put it this way, you CAN NOT LOSE
theres no challenge and it feels like a chore. also, i've had some annoying lag issues when playing online (which has a max difficulty of heroic, which also sucks)
that being said, the cgi cutscenes are great though
