Halo 4. u think it will happen?

Do you believe that there might be a fourth halo? I was reading the article on my updates that said: microsoft teases masterchiefs return to halo. If there was no halo 4 what so ever microsoft would just say no and thats all they would ever say about halo. Besides they can a lot of stuff for the fourth game.

Im sure they wont give up on the franchise, but as one of the few 360 owners w/o any halo game nor the desire to have one, I wish they would start another franchise to support like they have halo. I dont mind if they continue to make halo games as they are obvioulsy very popular andimportant to the xbox's success, but I probably wont buy them simply because of the issues I have with them (not going into that here) and honestly thats like asking if nintendo will make another mario game, they would be total fools to drop it altogether so i wouldnt worry

I imagine there will be another Halo. Look at the otherbig franchises in shooters: Doom, Quake, Unreal, Rainbow Six, Call of Duty, Half-Life. Some of these are over 15 years old, and there are still games being made in them.

Yeah. Although i wouldnt expect halo 4 probably until the next xbox console.

While I love the Halo series, I don't want it to sell out. The only way I feel a Halo 4 would be truly successful, and refrain from being labeled a sell out is if some serious changes were made to the formula. We've essentially had the same exact gameplay for 3 games, just with added content. I'm fine with that, I loved all three, but with the amount of people that bashed Halo 3 for being more of the same, the only way a Halo 4 would survive is if some seriosuly big gameplay changes were made. I do think it will happen though, but not for awhile. Don't expect a Halo 4 until the next Xbox at least.

Everyone forgets that Wingnut still is in development for their Halo game, so that would be my guess. I wouldn't want to see a "Halo 4", but I would love to see a more tactical look at the universe, such as Halo meets Ghost Recon.

I don't know about a Halo 4...but there's definetly going to be another Halo game. If i'm right, it's the highest selling exclusive on any console, being that Wii sports shouldn't count, and GTA is multiplat.

Halo's probably my favorite franchise so i'm for anything bungie throws at me. Microsoft knows Halo sells, so there will be another "Big" halo title before the end of the 360. It's something Microsoft has over Sony and Nintendo that they know will sell no matter what.

A Halo 4 is not completely unreasonable . . . considering the ending of the thrid game. Once Bungie finishes making add-ons (map packs) and new experiences (Halo 3:ODST) with Halo 3, then we might see a Halo 4, probably on the thrird Xbox.

Didn't they say there was not going to be another one, that is why they are having other Halo titled games come out like ODST instead. But if they do it would be smart to wait awhile, sort of like the length between Doom2 and Doom3. I would be happy with just updates for MP on 3.

I'm almost positive there will be. Bungie said Halo was going to be a trilogy but after seeing the ending of Halo 3 (on Legendary) it seems like they are pretty much setting it up for a 4th Halo. I would be very happy if there is. Halo is a great series.

Microsoft owns the rights, if they could they'd pump out 6 more sequels before you would be able to say teabagger

Let me put this in perspective, MS the biggest money grabbing business in the WORLD!, and halo a franchise no matter how generic and spred out it will become sells millions, Now think about it. Yes of course there is going to be another Halo, even if MS have to count on a another studio or team to make it.
