'Halo 4'...Without Master Chief?

Anyone have any thoughts on this?

Master Chief is awesome, but I kinda want to move forward with anouther character, maybe you follow the Arbitier as he frees his home world or something.

Also what would you want in 'Halo 4'?

Anything revolves around the Halo ring is Halo franchise. MC is just a character in there. Besides, there are plenty of spartan out there. Or we was waked up because there is more of ring for him to destroy. But I am thinking of Spartan action RPG. It is 3rd person and the game is more about upgrades rather than pure skills. Or we should have Halo MMOFPS.

well they did say countless times that it was a trilogy.

because they said it was a TRILOGY not a saga,and if they do make a halo 4 it better be good.

No, no they didn't. They said that particular trilogy would be the end of that particular story arc. Just like the original Star Wars is a trilogy. They were very clear that it was simply the conclusion of the story arc and not the conclusion of the game in itself.

oh i never said that wasn't a possibility of a another halo game..just not a fourth halo. if that makes any sense

what is left? the covanent are disbanded,the flood are seemingly under-control,elites are somewhat at peace with humanity,cpt. Johnson died. what is there left besides marathon

There will be a Halo 4, carrying on from Halo 3. They might not make it immediately, but there will be one, for sure. You dont put cliffhanger endings in for the fun of it.

The forerunners have been left pretty much untouched in the games. As have the other spartans. The rebels. The pirates. Not to mention Onyx and the army of sentinals. There's heck-loads the can make a game out of.

its a horrible idea in my opinion. new alien race comes out of no where and starts trouble and the cheif has to come and saved the world? sounds very..VERY..generic

Which is perfect for a new story arc. Again; they wouldn't have ended the game that way if they had no intention of ever revisiting master chief after Halo 3. Simple.

a halo prequel with the mastercheif as a child aswell as flashbacks of the events that happened with the forerunners would actually be worth buying

halo has been drawn out enouggh, its boring and repettitive, bungie needs to prove that they can make more then generic campaign with decent online gameplay games.ag3ntz3rox0x

Actually it has been confirmed that the next Assassins creed will be set in the Halo world (you still play as Altair and your an assassin working for the flood.)

okay sorry but i really do think a good idea would be to have a game set in the earlier life of sgt. johnson or capt. keyes. or maybe the chief before the death of the other spartans. and i am not joking this time.
