Halo CE Remake?

It hasn't been OFFICIALLY confirmed by 343 or Microsoft, but We know its coming. I'd buy it no matter how it comes out. I'd prefer the retail disk though. And we dont have enough info on it to know whether or not it will have Multiplayer.

I prefer an XBL release. They can all go to hell if they think I'm gonna pay $60 for a remake.orb_03_2006

id rather it be a retail game... it could be available as download as well though for thos other people.

i mean, once they said reach was the last halo.....i seen remakes from a mile away. but from what i understand, this was everyones fav so why not remake it?

I believe it will be retail since it's going to be totally redone to look like Reach.

To the multiplayer: I would hope so, no one would drop $60 for a storymode.

I'm sure it'll be retail for the full $60 like ODST and I'm sure it'll have MP so they can sell us maps down the line. Even so, first day purchase for me if it's real.Floppy_Jim

Not sure if it will be downloadable or retail though.

i'm tired of remakes and HD collections they need to come up with new IPs.

co-op was mentioned but not multiplayer.

And I don't see the logic in your question... why would a Halo remake stop them from doing that? Maybe the Halo remake will be a big game for the holiday season, Halo is usually pretty big. Heck, so is Gears. No matter what, I'm surpised they would push Gears 3 back for that reason anyway,

Joystiq is just another gaming website and in the article gamespot posted all they said is "joystiq said this" and "joystiq said that", Gamespot didn't flat out say anything for themselves or Microsoft. Gamespot didn't didn't say anything confidently, all they said was "this guy said this". Point is that it's not official until Microsoft says so themselves. Gamespot is not the law on gaming, especially when they report a rumor some other website posted first.

And whats not to get from my logic? Microsoft specifically stated they were pushing Gears 3 back to have a big release for the holidays.My point is that if there was a Halo game already lined up for November this would not have been an issue and Gears of War 3 would not have been delayed.

I would get it just if it has some kind of flood survival mode and Reach's graphics.
