i wonder which one is better which one is longer and any other things bout them that will help.

Here is what it boils down to:
If you havent already purchased all the DLC for Halo 3 or dont even own Halo 3 then: buy ODST.
Judging from your user icon, howver, it seems like your a big batman fan, soooo you may enjoy that more.
If you decide to go for ODST however, keep this in mind:
If you have already purchased all the DLC for Halo 3, then you basically already own 2/5 (two fifths) of what ODST offers. Also, the ODST campaign can be disappointing if you havent done your homework and dont know what its all about. And, finally, there isnt a any matchmaking for the firefight mode.
personally im going to go with Batman. For a full price game i think it has more to offer all around. The story is better, characters and acting excellent. Longer story line, great riddles to solve, more to it that just point and shoot gameplay, being stealthy is just so much cooler, upgrades are awesome, graphics are amazing, challenge rooms are fun to play and actually challenging, really interesting audio interviews to find, and of course...........your Batman. Honestly in my view the only thing ODST has over Batman is the multiplayer but that would only sway someone who is into Halo 3's multiplayer which I'm not so I'm really gonna say batman is the better offer. Though when ODST drops to around 30 i'll pick it up probably.
Batman in my opinion. Amazing single player game.Hakud0ushi
Agreed. Prolly the most fun I've had playing a single player game in a long time. I really liked the invisible predator mode but the fighting one was pretty hard.
I never played ODST and I don't really care to, but Batman was pretty fun. I beat in about 2 days, which I'm willing to bet is about the same length ODST is going to be. However, I had so much fun with it I pretty much started a new game immediately after I beat it.
It boils down to whether you need another shooter title or a more action-type game.
Batman by a land slide. Batman is an awesome game and probably the best of 2009 so far. Good graphics, good story, and good fighting mechanics. I have ODST and it doesn't come close in the fun factor compared to Batman. I was done with ODST in a day while Batman I'm still addicted to and will replay it often.
C: 1. It just matters what you like more Beat em' ups or Sci-fi FPS. 2. Halo 3 will obviously, last longer because it's a multiplayer game. Although,Batman has a longer single player.DeadApeBladder
I would absolutly not classify Batman AA simply as a "beat em up".
ok if aleady played halo 3 then get batman......
if not then odst...but only if your interested in the multiplayer.
I for some reason found halo 3 singleplayer player alot more fun, i dont know why though.
batman all the way! I started playing it through again right after I beat it. Odst I messed with at a freinds house and did not really feel the need to purchase. I will grab it when they do a price drop probably.
havn't played batman but heard few ppl said u can beat the entire game in 6 hrs. with odst it took me about 6-8 or so hrs to beat campaign on heric then played again for ledgandary. then firefight is a blast6 when you got friends online
the campaign is a blast to me it was one of the best halo signle's.
firefight is great when u got good friends to last.
all 24 halo 3 maps for even more mP
Halo reach bate good 5 weeks or so of fun in spring 2010
i dont even think batman as Mp
i would just rent BATMAN u might might play it twice and about it

I played the demo and that is what it appeared to be. I could care less if you could use stealth and gadgets when you got down into fighting what did it appear to be?I haven't played ODST yet, but I'd probably go w/ that.
There's nothing wrong w/ Batman AA, but it's not really such an amazing game that you can justify playing it over and over again. It's easily a rental game.
W/ ODST you've got co-op, and multiplayer that justify actually owning the game.
DO you buy a game to play whole year? Oh my. In my opinion depends, single player: Batman, multiplayer: ODST obviously. (For my taste, Batman).rent batman. own odst. multiplayer will lengthen the replayability. 2 years later and Halo 3 multiplayer is still the most popular LIVE game.
will you be playing batman over and over again all year?

Quick question for the people saying ODST is the better game, do you guys even own Batman? If so then your opinion is valid but if not than its unfair to say one is better than the other if you haven't played both to completion. A demo doesn't give you the full experience. I for one have both and can say hands down Batman is the better made game. The developers obviously took the time to make an outstanding game for Batman fans. Even if you aren't a Batman fan you can at least appreciate the thought and detail put into it. As much as I wish ODST's developers put forth the same dedication they didn't. It comes down to what the TC wants at the end though cause its true Batman doesn't have a MP put at the end I found Batman alot more satisfying.
ODST probably have one of the best Single Player experience since Halo CE, even though it was short (5-8 hours), It had great Replay Value so I'll definitely get this. Firefight is fun to play with friends, but that really depends. If you like Horde from Gears of war 2 then you'll love Firefight then, but if you didn't like it then you may not like this, but then, I didn't care for Horde that much, but I love Firefight so whatever. I only played the demo of Batman Arkham asylum, but I didn't care for it so Im not going to buy the full game, but the full game maybe better, but the demo made me not to (IMO). Anyways, ODST is a great game and worth the $60 TC.
The full game of Batman AA is much better than the demo, heck, the demo doesn't even represent the full game. It's one of the best games I've played in 2009.ODST probably have one of the best Single Player experience since Halo CE, even though it was short (5-8 hours), It had great Replay Value so I'll definitely get this. The only true answer here is Neither. Neither game is worth their current retail price.

Not true. I haven't talked to one person who purchased Batman and regretted it. Its an excellent game definitely worth the price. True that there's bigger hits coming out soon and if MP is your thing then just wait for Modern Warfare 2. That decision will come down to your personal preference though.

I purchased Batman New & I'm telling you it's worth $35 to $45. Awesome game nonetheless, just not that big of a package. MP isn't really all I'm talking about & MW 2 wouldn't be my first choice if it was. Usually only big RPGs are worth full retail price due to their extremely long single player campaigns & multiple endings.[QUOTE="BLAS1AN"]DO you buy a game to play whole year? Oh my. yes i do buy games that give me replayability. I still play rainbow six 2, marvel alliance 1, castle crashers, halo 3, smackdown v raw...etc
My advice? Don't get either. ODST is too short and Assassin's Creed 2 comes out later this year (which I think will be better than Batman: AA). Plus the flood of other great games coming out later this year and early next year, I recommend saving your cash.
