Halo Reach beta!?!?!?!?

Peole are saying they got an invitation with ODST, but I didn't. Is it because I bought the game used or something? I thought there would just be an update in the menu and you didn't need an invite.

Whoever told you that is a liar. The reach beta doesnt go live til spring of next year. And you just have needed to buy the game to get access to the demo. Meaning you will have access to it through the extras menu in ODST.

I believe I read on IGN yesterday that the Reach beta is coming in January....so it won't be too much longer

You get it with ODST when the beta becomes available.

Who to believe. Random guy saying EB games gave him a code or Bungie, the developers, who said the beta is on the ODST disc.

This is a tough one.

As another poster said the codes I got may have just been for Sgt. Johnson in firefight. I'm not deliberately lying, but I remember EB saying they had an exclusive Halo Reach beta code with copies of ODST- unless they simply met it came on the disc which is probably more likely. My copy isn't here, but when I get it back I'll look through the box to see if there was a beta code in it. Apologies for confusion, I'm not trying to troll or anything :|

Yeah, I'm pretty sure this is what the code is for. The beta is going live next year for people with the game.

I believe those codes that you received are to unlock sargeant Johnson in firefight.
