What's wrong with Halo Wars? For a console RTS, it's definitely one of the better ones. I know that's not saying much but I love it and I also play SC2 (so do other Halo Wars players)

I don't see why this wouldn't be included into a Top 25. I guess if you want 85% shooters that's cool..

Just because a game isn't bad for it's genre doesn't mean it should be in the 360 top 25. That should be fairly obvious.

I think its a great game, but its not in the 25 best. probley in there just cause it says halo in it.

I'm not trying to defend IGN or Halo Wars (which I've never played) but lists such as this are subjective.

You may not think its great but clearly they enjoyed it.

I think halo wars is one of the worst console rts' right below C&C 3 Kanes Wrath, C&C 3, red alert 3, and Battle for Middle Earth. I just didn't like the squad management because there basically wasn't one. I know console rts controls suck but they were some of the worst IMO.

Gears of War at 20, really? Assassin's Creed 2 only at 16 wtf!!!

Bickering over lists gets old. No one ever agrees on a list. I have never played Halo Wars but from what I have read about it, it is the most functionalRTS on the 360. If that is true is probably deserves a place on the top 25 list, though where it places on the list is a matter of opinion.

Seriously, it's THEIR list. They could have Yaris, Fusion Frenzy and Hour of Victory at the top of that list and they wouldn't be wrong.

Halo Wars is a great game for the 360. When you get together with a good team and have good opponents, the wars you can create are epic. Stragegy at its finest.

That was a very uhh...interesting list so far. I am surprised Halo Wars beat Batman and Gears of War.

these types of lists will never satisfy everyone. If you put up a list people will dispute them as well.

Oh man you totally rocked me there!!! not.... Hmm lets see because i have played about every RTS game available on PC including starcraft 2 and i dont like a single one of them. go troll a different thread :roll:

The problem with Halo Wars wasn't that it was a bad game, its just a very SIMPLE game. Compared to other RTS's it's quite lacking. But since its basically the only RTS on consoles and since its Halo (OMG HALO MASTERCHIEF AHHHH!!!) people bought it. It is not #16 on a list of the best xbox 360 games.

on metacritic halo wars did very well and scored in the 80's. here on gamespot it failled big time. tho i hav to say i tried the demo and really hated it.
