Now see here, this is where you CANT make me decide. Because in my mind, I've already decided to get them all. ;) I'm a firm believer that one shouldnt pass up a great game. Unless it's not your type of genre, then that's totally fine. I plan to get Fable 2, RE5, and especially Gears of War 2. I'm sure Red Alert 3 will be a good game, I'm just not a fan of RTS. Unless it becomes FPS? :P
Resident Evil 5. I had a gamecube before and RE4 was my favorite game on that system. so I don't know much about Fable. I'm not into RTS games so that gets rid of Halo Wars and Red Alert 3. For Gears 2, I'll probably be more excited once November gets closer.

I'm not sure it will be better than all of those on the list, but it will be right up there among the top games of 2008. It's been long awaited, and I'm hoping to log on to see a release date for Mr. Alan Wake. It's a pretty exciting looking game, given how little content and press news is out.
RE5. But what surprised me is that i had to think for a second between that and gears 2. But after a second of thought my vote def went to RE5. Re4 was my second favorite game of all time.

It was a planned trilogy, so unless something goes horribly wrong at BioWare, there will be a Mass Effect 2.

i'm gonna try and play them all (rent or buy or borrow) but Gears of War 2 is my most anticipated game right now. even more than R6 Vegas 2 and Unreal Tournament III and Fable 2 combined...
man its a tough decision between RE5, Fable2,and gears2.Id have to go with RE5 been a fan since the first and have all the RE games{even the crappy survivor}
I will try and get most, not as much for Halo Wars or Red Alert.. But other three for sure. Out of all I prefer Fable 2. I wasn't too sure, but the fully supported co-op just made my day.... Maybe if Gears comes through with 4 player co-op I will jump back on that wagon...

Don't get me wrong, but I don't think Halo Wars will be all that good. I'm not really a fan of Resident Evil or Fable, so I say Red Alert 3 or GoW2. And to complicate your situation further, don't forget EndWar, or Tiberium (the C&C FPS), or Vegas 2.
