first off, i love my 360. but, i dont see why people love halo, played the 1st for pc, played the 2nd for xbox, wasnt impressed at all, n i dont intend on gettin halo 3. why do u guys like it so much??
Its just alot of fun to play, love the story and online with a bunch of friends is always a great time to be had. Looks like this trend will more than continue with Halo 3

Not to mention that the game is easy to play, yet quite difficult to master.

Seriously, who cares what you think? And no one cares that you're not going to get halo 3. While you sit here and complain about it.. millions of other people are going to be enjoying it including myself.... :)
Halo is just fun. There are tons of levels, weapons, and gametypes to choose from which makes it more enjoyable. Plus Bungie has done a perfect job at making the gameplay smooth and fun. All you really need to say to describe Halo is that's it's just flat out fun.
imo the single player is over rated... never played the mp but hear its great... gonna be my first time playing online... as for the games themselves.. i mean they arent bad but i just dont think they are as great as most people believe.. but hey thats their opinion.. as for me its a good game.. just not great...
I agree man, Halo is not that great, the only thing that really sets it apart from other games is the guest mode support. It can be a lot of fun to get your friends to come over and team up againts people on Halo. Other than that it simply is not that great, I would much rather play Rainbow Six, it is much more realistic since they use real mans guns not needlers and crap like that.

i agree... its not that great of a game.. but i prob will end up gettin H3 just cuz it will ad to my collection.. to me i thought R6: Vegas is better then halo and halo 2 not just cuz its a next gen game but just cuz its more fun to play.. that also goes with Gears of War its not the best TPS to me... i thought GRAW 2 was better then GeoW but hey thats my opinion..

if you don't like halo 3, don't buy it and don't bother posting about it. there are already a ton of posts just like this on here. and for the record, i play halo for its story and solid gameplay. it might not be the best FPS ever, but it's good enough to deserve the hype.
i think halo 1 was a genuine amazing game....but that feeling of omg halo is great carried over to halo 2 (which i DONT think is all that great) + it had a good mp (but again, nothing that i find too amazing)
and now theres hype for halo 3 because the world halo is in the title and because mp rly does look boss (though not nearly as good as cod4's imo)
