I am wondering what 360 to buy out of the halo limited edition and the elite. Is there any better internal hardware that will make the elite run any cooler or are the halo and elite the same ? i am not too worried about the amount of memory i get , Just the stability of the system in general. thx in advance

No and yes. For $449 you either get a green Xbox with 20 gigs of memory, or a black one with 100 gigs more.
I would go with the Elite. Better value, and it's not ugly as sin. Green and copper? Really??
if you have been reading around the news is everywhere that the Halo 3 edition 360 has the 65nm chips that run much cooler than the other 360's Elite and Premium with the 90nm chips
HDD size doesn't matter to much really all you need it for is any demos and saves that you have. All other media such as music and videos just store on your pc and stream them over if you wana watch them
Get the Halo Edition because of the Falcon Chipsets in them
