They updated the Halo 3 site and now have confirmed the Halo 1 Pistol M6D is back and even with its 2x Scope like before.   It seems they are really trying to bring back Halo 1 into Halo 3 with a mix of Halo 2.  It should be a great combination.

I just went back 4 pages in topics and dont see anything that has to do with the Halo 3 website, but alright. 

DUDE, they are bringing back the M6D pistol, the rocket launcher and sniper rifle have different model numbers (might be a clue idk), the elites are in fact working with the humans, which means so are the hunters and half of the grunts, and it looks like the pelican and phantom could be useable!!!imrlybord7

Well personally I liked the scope for the most part on the M6D pistol so Ill still enjoy it if they lower its power a bit.  Anyway Im sure we will still fight some Elites, gruts and hunters through the story just not as many as before.  Gonna be a pretty weird story with everything turning upside down.

They havnt said anything about online co-op but I wouldnt be suprised if they had it in.

no offence to you but the only bad thing is for people like me who are getting the legendary edition, there is only going to be that art book in the special edition:cry: come on bungie i'm paying so much for the legendary why can't I have it. and then they rub it in by saying how good it is and why this is a must have for hardcore halo fans. the real hardcore halo fans will be getting the legendary editionmarcus_chief

Bungie said that people like you 2 and me who get Legendary editions shouldn't worry, as they will sell that book seperatly got a couple of bucks... And also, to the guy that says the pistol is to powerfulll, this is the future... It makes sense that the best weapon is the smallest, as there is no point in having a big weapon if you can have a small one, the bigger ones are like the cheaper ones in the Halo universe... Also, you said it should have a 1x zoom... 1 x 1 is 1!!!  That would mean you would have a scope that did absolutly noting... lol, I think you mean a 1.5 x zoom or something... Also, another thing that I forgot to mention, is that Halo3.Com as officially announced that there will be a Halo movie coming up... They said it WILL come out, just it probably wont be coming out any time soon.........
