Okay, so I(dont laugh please) only have the 10G hard drive, the one that came on launch. And I am going to upgrade to a bigger one, so I can buy games on demand. Anyway, I noticed that the transfer kit only works for 20G or higher. So, with that being said, can I use it to upgrade a 10? Thinking that its so old that people forgot about it, lol. I dont have any music, movies download on my hard drive, I just want to transfer over my gamertag and my map packs...

well you can always just insert the new hard drive and recover your gamertag from xboxlive.

from there you will have to redownload all of your dlc but at least it will be free because you already bought it.

thats the easiest way i can think of doing it.

Cheers and i hope this helped!

There was a 10 GB HDD? I don't remember that. Are you sure it isn't a 20 with only 10 GB available since several GB would not be available because of the system files that are present?

Well I only have 10G avaiable from the start, so I dont know how that makes it a 20 but I will double check.

He must have the 20 GB. Like I said, about 6 GB's were allocated to System Files. And another couple allocated to game title caching and backwards compatibility files. There was never a 10 GB. Only 20, 60 and 120.
