Okay so i got my new gameinformer today in the mail and it had about a 6 page spread on this game..i would deff have to say i hate aerosmith and if the only songs you get to play are his, deff wouldnt be a buy for me..any one else wanna elaborate...
I'm pretty sure that there's other music besides Aerosmith's in the game. I saw an ad in Gamestop that said something to the effect of "Rock out to the music of Aerosmith and their favorite bands" so I'm assuming that the members of Aerosmith picked the rest of the music.
I personally like aerosmith I will not buy this game though. I do not like aerosmith that much. Also I am perfectly happy with Rock band now. I will not return to guitar hero unless they make some changes. Plus downloadable content on rock band makes guitar hero look like a joke.
Yeah, I have that Game Informer right here, and it says Neversoft is working on it on the very first page of the article. Harmonix doesn't even work for Activision anymore, they're owned by MTV.

not really an Areosmith person myself, but yo as long as it says guitar hero i can say that it will sell, i work at gamestop myself and people ask me about this, hell people are always asking can they pre order

That's not as bad, although personally I still don't like the idea.
I love Aerosmith and I'm planning on getting the game for sure. However, I can't see how this would be a good marketing move to have a game dedicated to only one band. That cuts your audience down considerably. I have a feeling other music might make it's way in.
Exactly.Their first few albums (Aerosmith, Get Your Wings, Toys In The Attic...) are undeniably rock classics... but somewhere around when they removed the dope from the equation they jumped the shark in a big, big way. Kinda like the Stones... except it took the Stones 30 years to do it.
