I bought that game from Ska studios the other day. The guy who is making Dishwasher... Its actually pretty fun. It plays very similair to Soldat on the PC. I can't rememebr the name of the game but its one of the newer releases.

I try not to waste money on games that resemble things you can play for free on the computer.

I haven't ever been tempted to purchase one of these games because like someone else said, they resemble games I can play for free on my computer.

If you guys want to play those types of games and not pay money for them, I'd suggest going to newgrounds.com . You play games there like alien hominid without paying a dime.

I haven't really even looked into community games yet. All I know is that average Joes can make a game, and if it's selected for 360 they can charge a fee and make marketplace points?

They give the community game developers marketplace points instead of real money? That's hilarious. That would be like my employer paying me with monopoly money.

That's what I've read, anyway. Yeah, that is kinda stupid.

magicalclick

Not quite. You still need to know how to program in C#. It is not something like KoDu that requires no coding.

Ohhhhh, so it's for the average C# programming efficient Joes.

Very true. I bought some RC airplane game for 200 points and boy does it suck. :( Last time I do that. Carnivale is amazing though! Check it out!

I've bought Artoon and was looking into Biology Battle but the 800 ms point price put me off. I like checking out what is new and downloading the trials though.

I haven't seen a good game yet personally. Some are OK, but not worth spending money on. Especially when you have total garbage like "Swords and Monsters", a 1-3 second expedition of such utter nonsense that somehow, in some way, you still feel that you wasted an important part of your life while playing it. And that's just the demo. The developer actually advertises that you get NOTHING NEW when you buy it! That's right, instead of playing an actual game, you get to pay for next to nothing (an amount of nothing that you could have played for FREE), as well as no new features. What do you get? A promise that the developers will use your money to make more nothing for you to do. The fact that they charge ANY amount for that "game", and other atrocities like Fireplace, or 3D Aquarium, is crazy.

I download the "massager" demo (I was curious) and I thought, why would I need to download the entire game for 200 points when the demo gives you almost everything except for the highest setting. Uh, ok. I'll just keep the demo for free then. That aquarium is also terrible. I know it's just a virtual fishtank, but the fish are animated very poorly and mover completely unnatural. I've seen better on free screen savers! MS really needs to do some quality control in the Community Games section!

I haven't. One reason is that most of them aren't very good. Another reason is that they don't have achievements.

i played The Dishwasher demo about a year ago when they were letting us play some of the demo's for free. I enjoyed that game but i don't think i'll spend that much money on it. I rather invest it into a new and better game
