Has anyone else experienced problems when leaving the avatar editor? Everytime I save and quit the avatar editor and it tries to take me back to the dashboard my system freezes up completely. It did it for the first time a few days ago and I didn't pay much attention to it, but it happened again last night which is now bringing up my concern(which was the first time I had been back into since the first freeze). I have the 250GB Slim, don't know if that has anything to do with it but figured I'd mention it. From what I remember I don't believe this ever happened with my old 360 system.

EDIT: I should also mention that when it freezes my system it makes some sort of clicking noise every 2 seconds, and when go to press the power button it doesn't shut off, I usually have to wait a few seconds then press it again then it'll shut down.

Well I've had the RROD twice with my old 360 so I know what that's like when it's coming close and this doesn't have the same effects as a case of the RROD. It doesn't happen when I'm playing games or doing anything else it's just when I exit and save out of the avatar editor, which has just recently started and happened twice. Overall my 360 runs perfectly fine and very smooth. Plus from what I know the RROD problem has been solved with the new slim console which is what I have now.

Well if it does it'd have to happen to someone whose 360 S console is in a crowded space where it can't get the proper ventilation, even though I still don't think it'll happen. The S console has had a major upgrade with the overheating issue, plus not to mention the Falcon chip(65nm instead of what was 95nm) that's implanted, which has heat reduction and reduces the chance drastically of overheating. Plus the system monitors and protects itself from overheating by shutting itself down if it doesn't get proper the ventilation it needs, which then it'll flash the RDOD(Red Dot of Death) which will keep flashing until it's safe to turn your 360 S console back on. Then once it's back up a message will show up letting you know why it shut down, then you can go back to gaming or whatever else you was doing.

Here read this and it'll let you know it all.

I just started having the exact same problem tonight and it's freaking me out a bit, especially since I just got my Xbox in December. If it's about to break already I'm going to be less than thrilled.
