i got mine done for free including the shipping and they gave me a brand new 360 cuz the old one coulden't be fixed so ya its possible and i didn't even have to argue they were just like ya were going to do it for free
I did, mine was purchased in January '06 and I think they thought it was from the original batch. Anyways, I got 3 red lights, sent it in...paid for the fixes...but then got a refund check for 139.0 from them 6 months later
 It took a while but I got a 360 out of warranty replaced for free
