I tried to play it last night but it was taking forever to download. I guess because so many people were downlaoding at the same time. So has anyone played it? If so, how is it?
I got finished playing the demo about 20 minutes ago. Let me just say that the visuals are awesome. The game feels like it has the pace of Condemned and the thrill factor of it. The graphics are just so 'effing good!
People afraid playing the demo might spoil things don't have to worry, there is nothing in here that you don't know already if you have been following the game. Playing it It just emphasises the must have nature of this game.
The days before it comes out are gonna be hell to wait through.:?
I tried downloading it this morning. Last night i turned my xbox off at around 30 percent. This morning the dl wouldnt resume so i canceled and started a new one. This made the dl go up to 42 percent before starting to go slow. It slowly climbed to 52 percent and then i restarted my xbox. When i turned it on, it was back at 42 and wouldnt resume the dl, it just stayed there. I then canceled it again and started a new dl, this time it went to about 95 percent at normal speed. I only had to endure 5 percent at those slow speeds. From the little bit ive played of the demo so far, ive only gotten tot he pistol, im assuming it around halfway or so, the game looks just completly amazing.
I just played the demo as well. I'm very excited about this game, and if still possible I'm pre-ording it today. This is definitely a must-have for any shooter fan and any 360 owner that passes this game up is denying themselves what they truely bought a 360 for...A REAL NEXT-GEN GAME!
played through the demo twice already, and all I can say is that this game is amazing!! cannot wait for this to come out, its a great demo, fairly lengthy, and everything about it is top notch, graphics, sound, gameplay, its my game of the year so far
i dont think itll get a perfect 10, those are pretty rare for gamespot, but judging from the demo, this game should get no less than at least a 9.5. contender for game of the year with a chance of winning despite all the great competition later on this year
I dont know it was good but I still dont think its worth $60 for a 20 hour game with no online IMO I still think it was really good but maybe better to rent it instead.

i was going to wait untill the new nhl game came out to get xbox live, but to hell with that im getting it today justbecause of the bioshock demo and positives im reading.
Sweet goodness. This game will be a classic. Prepare to be thoroughly impressed. Wow, omfg, holy s$%# are just some of the descriptions that will come out of your mouths when you play this game. A new bench mark has been set.
heres my luch i started the download and about 30% down the way my system froze. i gave ita minute turned it on and i got my three red lights!!! :( of all times now. and now hearing its greatness :( oh well i guess i will just buy it when its out
Words fail me when describing this game. I have never played a game where every inch of it is oozing with detail and history, this game redefines the word "immersion". Graphically this game is equal with, if not better than Gears ( not that that's a bad thing) but it exceeds Gears in different ways, like the water for instance.Both the look and physics in the water are above and beyond not only Gears, but every other game I've ever seen in my life, water never looked or behaved so real in a game before this. It also exceeds Gears by allowing lots more interaction with the environment, the surroundings feel alive and not just a pretty show piece. Besides the look and feel, gameplay wise it's the most fun i've had playing a game in a long time. This isn't some regular pass the time away kind of game, for me this was like playing RE4 or God of War for the first time. Truthfully I wasn't really into this game up until this week, but now i'm buying it day one for sure.

I thought the demo was a little too short, and I was a little dissapointed that I couldn't do as much as I wanted. But hey, the game's coming out in 2 weeks. I'll be waiting.
After the plane crashed and I was in the water and the flames were around the character I thought I was still watching a cgi part. Then I moved the right analog stick and I was able to control it. The only thing I can say is Killzone 2 we just found the nail for your coffin! This game has some of the best graphics and effects I've eve seen.
The demo was great. I wasn't expecting much, but the demo helped persuade me that I definitely need to play the game. There is a cinematic feel to it that allowed me to get immersed, but the graphics weren't as polished as I would like. Overall, I am looking forward to playing through the story.
Ever since this game first had previews out I started getting excited. After playing the demo and seeing how beautiful the game looks, how smoothly it plays, how much FUN it is(bear in mind this is the DEMO :shock: )...I can't wait for the final game. It will be utter bliss. I actually went out and pre-ordered my limited edition copy already,
