Been cured of the RRoD by now?

Hi there folks,i've been living in a cave for 6 months now... and i was wondering, has the xbox 360 been fixed by now? ie - Has the RRoD problem been fixed completely?

I had to sell my xbox 360 cuz I was so pissed off at it! Then I had to convert to PS3'ism!

Hoping to get an xbox 360 again so I can play Gears and Mass Effect again!

From what I've read the newer models are less likely to get it, not saying that it won't but chances are better.Strife88

correct, i bought one in august 07 died around december. got a new one around january it has lasted me to nwo still working.

You were mad at a working Xbox so you sold it?

I'd say it's pretty safe. My xbox is going on 2 years old now, plus there have been many different chipsets...so I'm sure the problem is much smaller than it was around launch.
