Well, i don't do all the research on the latest games as i used too, the only decent survival horror i've played in the last 3-4 years is Dead Space. Apart from that i havn't really seen any, Resident Evil 5 to me was not the resident evil i know and love, and apart from that i don't know of any others

So yeah, is there any out there? Or is this genre dying :(

The genre is pretty much dying out from what I can tell the only decent s/h game announced that I know of is DS2.

Singularity tries to do survival horror, but its not on the level of scary that Resident Evil and Dead Space pull off.

Maybe Left 4 Dead and Left 4 Dead 2 if you haven't already played those.

Don't even think about buying Shellshock 2.

If you haven't played Conemned 1+2 yet, I'd recommend those. I'm not sure about Deadly Premonition, maybe someone else can talk about that. Another game would be Silent Hill Homecoming. Other than that, you either would have to choose another console or wait for another Survival Horror game, I'm afraid.

Like someone mentioned, Survival Horror games are pretty rare. If you have a PS 3 I'd say go with Siren: Blood Curse. Last gen offers some too like Project Zero (=Fatal Frame), Call of Cthulhu (besides Silent Hill and Resident Evil of course)

I agree. Condemned 1 and 2 as well. Dead Space, which you alrady have played. Deadly Premonition is an excellent game (if you dont mind PS 2 graphics), which tells the best ever story in a video game. Really, if you have questions about DP ask me. It is by far the best game i have played in a long time.
