Have the new bunch of demos convinced you to buy the full version?

Over the last the week or so theXBLM has become full of new demos ranging from FIFA 11 to world rally championship to enslaved and many others.

Got me thinking have any of these demos actually done there job and convinced you to buy the full game?

or

Has a definite buy become a rent/bargain basket pick up or put you off completely?

Well the Enslaved demo has me considering to buy it.

As far as Demos go i know i won't be picking up Quantum Theory anytime soon, i've only been hearing bad things about this game. But we'll see.

Left 4 dead demo, played it a fair amount of time and bought the full game shortly after it came out.

For me demos let me know what games not to buy. I do plenty of research into games that im interested in so i know what im getting when i spend my money. Theres no way you can be dispointed that way but for those rare times im on the fence i try the demo and this gen 9x out 10 they put me off the game, Most recently would be vanquish. I heard a lot of great stuff about this game but the demo was bad imo.

Arcania Gothic 4 is no longer a game I am looking forward to and I don't expect much from it.

I'll rent Enslaved and Vanquish after playing the demos..will have to hear more before I consider buying though. But agree with person above, it mostly tells me which games to avoid.

Iv played the NBA 2k11 demo.And i will no doubt bepicking this game up:D

i dunno. i play every demo, I'm tempted to get Dead Rising 2 after playing it's "demo." but thats it lately.

edit: oh and i liked Hawx2 demo, but i wont pay $60 for that. I'll get it when i see it for $20-30

I really wanted to be pumped for Gothic 4:ArcaniA, but the demo isn't really good.

Well its no guaranteed buy but Vanquish and Enslaved definetley surprised me.

well the vanquish demo conviced me to buy, watching the trailers didnt covince me but the game players better than it looks

IDK about the games mentioned but i've downloaded demos that have made me change my mind: as in not buying it, lol.

Arcania Gothic 4 is no longer a game I am looking forward to and I don't expect much from it.

I was planning on getting FIFA 11 before the demo was released. Apart from that I haven't played any others.

yeah , i want that game, but it's still $50+ everywhere. I'm just waiting for it to drop down a little more.

looks like enslaved demo convinced quite a few people but maybe the other game developers should have not bothered,

for me enslaved and fifa 11 convinced me to buy

i will play a demo for any game im interested in but not 100% sure about, and they usually sway my opinion one way or another

from the most recently ones iv played, the Enslaved demo has convinced me that i am definitely getting the game, where the Vanquish and WRC demos both convinced me that actually i didnt like the game

Fifa 11 - i liked the demo a lot and i will be buying the game.

Enslaved - still have not played the demo

ArcaniA Gothic 4 - still have not played the demo

Mafia 2 - bought the game, amazing....

Quantum Theory - when i downloaded the demo, they should have sent me $5 for the 5 minutes of my life i lost while playing this GoW rip-off. Horrendous...

This isn't new but the deathspank demo convinced me to buy the full game..

The Enslaved demo did it for me :D, i've pre-ordered it now :)
