Beat me to it, lol.
I own both and no regrets either way.
Also just a tip, if you make a thread and it gets locked, it's probably best not to make another one exactly the same.
Bought a 360 to keep myself busy till I could go back to my true gaming passion: pc. I had orignally planned to buy a ps3 but the 360 was cheaper at the time and I had more friends on live. It never mattered to me which system I ended up with really since most of the games I play are mutliplatform anyways.
Never had that problem, i've always loved my xbox to me it just seems a more sociable console with its dashboard and games (ie Kinect). I've played PS3 quite a few times and its never had the same feel to me.
I traded my Ps3 for 360 but now I regret doing that too soon. I felt I should've tried the Uncharted series first. For some reason I missed that and played all the other exclusives for Ps3 (except Killzone and Resistance solely because I can care less for shooters these days). So far I don't regret the 360 but it doesn't seem to have many exclusives, just better versions of multiplats. The Arcade is fantastic though.
I have both consoles, I do play on my 360 more and xbox live is better than psn but the ps3 has the better overall exclusives that's for sure. Uncharted, Heavy Rain, God of War, MGS4, Infamous, Starhawk, and upcoming games like The Last of Us, Beyond, and God of War AC look amazing. The only exclusives the 360 has that I care about are Gears, and Halo. If it weren't for those two games and xbox live I would have sold me 360 long ago.
I don't regret buying any of the 3 consoles this generation. However my Xbox 360 gets the most play, so I regret buying it the least.
"sup all , have u regret buying the xbox360 instead of the ps3 ? and if u do why is that ?? i kinda have that feeling" :(wtfineedaname
No.
As with any console, it's mostly the games I focus on, more so than the hardware.
I tend to buy for myself only games I enjoy, and I spend a lot of time playing each one, so I don't look to buy multiple titles all at once.
Online play is cool, but it's not a major emphasis for me, personally.
Plus, I plan on getting a PS3 eventually. I like some of the exclusives on there.
no no regrets. its my main console i play. love it. ive got the old white arcade one. had it for about 5 or 6 years? still works fine, even after one RROD that went away by plugging in a cord that wasnt fully lugged in. ive got a 60gb Hdd since the arcade came without a harddrive.
i had a PS3 that we mainly used as a DVD/Blu Ray player until my douche sister pawned it for drug money.
